Pocket Kanji got a small update. It has now bigger buttons which should work better with touch screen phones. Buttons are hopefully big enough to hit with a finger now. Furigana texts are also larger to be slightly easier to read.

Pocket Sensei 2.1

Pocket Sensei 2.1 is released now. It has some bug fixes, but the biggest improvement is touch user interface support.

To see it in full screen in Nokia 5800XM, please install midlet from JAD file. Otherwise virtual keypad will fill the half of the screen.

Pocket Sensei 2.0: words

New Pocket Sensei version has quiz for words. It contains more than 6000 most common japanese words which are needed for levels 4 to 1 in JLPT (japanese language proficiency test).

Both kanji and word quiz are flashcards now. First press down to see the answer. Then right if answer was correct or left if it was incorrect.
